A song that may well be familiar to those of you interested in the Olympics. Corny? Yes. Cheesy? Yes. Shoehorned in, with no real rhyme or reason? Yes. But in an age saturated with post-irony and withering sarcasm directed at anything genuine, something corny and cheesy might just be what’s needed at the Games; a celebration of something simple, heartfelt, and genuine.
